Open floor plan allows for everyone to easily spend time together. 5 bedrooms with different configurations can sleep at least 11 guests (more if you want to use the included air mattress or 4 couches) and the 3.5 bathrooms are easily shared. This home features a well stocked kitchen, coffee bar with drip coffee maker and a Keurig, laundry room with full size HE washer and dryer, dining room, and living room along with a second living area that is a media room, plus a back patio and pool area that allow for ample outdoor living! The attached 2 car garage can also be utilized for guest parking or storage of items during your stay. You can relax in the back yard and watch the cows graze in the field behind us, or enjoy the occasional fly over by our Dyess Air Force Base B-1s and C-130's. The privacy of the backyard will make you feel like you are a million miles from everything! But you are still only minutes away from everything that Abilene has to offer, or you can easily head south to Buffalo Gap and enjoy one of Perini's famous steaks. This is our family home so we take great pride in it and have tried to make it very comfortable for guests. We know how it is to travel with children so we have left several "kid items" for your convenience such as a high chair, pack and play, child safety gate (for stairs), as well as an outdoor toddler play set. Bedroom layouts are as follows: Downstairs - bedroom 1 - king bed, bedroom 2- bunk beds with full bed and twin bed, bedroom 3 - 2 twin beds. Upstairs - bedroom 4 - queen bed, bedroom 5 - full bed, 1 queen air mattress also included. COST: We charge $300/night May - September and $250/ night Oct - April for up to 4 people and $25/person/night after that up to 15 people (no more than 15 people can stay in the house). Plus a $1000 security deposit (refundable with proper cleaning and no damage). We require a 50% deposit to book and the remaining balance will be charged 2 weeks before your stay. For extended stays (over 1 week), please contact us for special discounted rates. We require a minimum 3 night stay, but we might waive that requirement if you pay a cleaning fee. PETS: we have a NO PET POLICY. We charge $100 PER PET, PER DAY if we find a pet on the property. This is for ALL pets no matter shape or size. Check in at 4pm and check out at 11am. EVENTS: For any parties/gatherings that involve guests not staying in the house, we charge an added $10 per head. We need to know all details prior to event in order to plan, so these must be approved beforehand. There will be a $300 fee assessed for any unplanned parties or gatherings of people other than registered guests.

At the Hocking lodge you and your guests will enjoy your stay in our comfortable 2,200 square foot farmhouse. The home is handicap accessible and includes three bedrooms, two full baths with a claw foot tub, fireplace, open kitchen with dishwasher, two living areas, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and cable television. The home includes 2 full size, 1 bunk, and two twin beds which accommodates 8 people. We also have 6 heavy duty cots with mattresses available for an extra fee. We can accommodate up to 13 guests at a time. 13 being the max for an extra fee per of $20 per person per day over 8 people. Our front porch is a great place to reflect on the day's hunt or shopping spree and is also the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful and quiet surroundings. This open spaced country farmhouse is located, 15 minutes outside of Abilene, TX. It has charming décor throughout the home. It's perfect for wedding guests, hunters, and horse lovers. Spend your evenings gazing at endless views of the mountain range and enjoy the wildlife that inhabits this West Texas property. There are numerous restaurants and entertainment venues VERY CLOSE by. Hunting lease is located minutes away with that is also available to book. Located on a large lot there is, plenty of parking, available weekly, or WEEKENDS. Horses and trailers are also welcome.

The lodge has one suite with a queen size bed and sitting area over looking downtown and our beautifully renovated T&P depot. Another bedroom with two full beds. Living room with sofa sleeper for one additional guest if needed, full kitchen, & bathroom. We also have a large venue hall with full kitchen adjacent to the lodge as well. This wonderful turn of the century lodging features original hardwood floors, ship lap walls, and beautiful brick and plaster distressed walls. On the other end of the building we have a 1500 sq ft venue hall with a 250 sq ft kitchen as well. It all can be rented to accommodate your parties, receptions, birthdays, or meetings. Unfortunately we do not serve breakfast but do offer farm fresh eggs, milk, orange juice, cereal, etc for you to fix your own meal with.
